**AI interior design cost depends on how a tool charges for generating images:** individual renders, prepaid credits, or a recurring subscription. A free download may include a small allowance rather than unlimited use. Compare the number of useful results you need with the full purchase price and renewal terms.

Architectural AI is one example of the credit model. It is free to download with starter tokens. After that you can buy optional one-time token packs or a weekly or yearly subscription inside the app. We don't list amounts here: prices depend on your country and change over time, and the App Store or Google Play shows the current price for your region before you confirm anything.

## How token packs work

A token pack is a one-time purchase. Bigger packs usually cost less per token, but they cost more overall, so a lower unit price only helps if you will actually use the tokens.

**Cost per token is not necessarily cost per finished redesign.** A generation can consume more than one token depending on the option you pick, and you may need several attempts to get a useful concept. Check the token charge shown in the app before generating.

To estimate a project, work backwards: the number of attempts you expect, times the tokens each attempt uses, compared with the pack sizes and prices the store shows you.

## How subscriptions work

The weekly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. Before choosing one, confirm in the app what it includes, any introductory offer, the renewal price and how to cancel.

Don't assume a subscription means unlimited generations unless the app says so. A yearly plan is billed once a year; dividing it by twelve does not make it a monthly billing option.

## Which pricing model fits a one-room project?

- **Starter tokens:** useful for checking whether the tool can interpret your photo and whether you like its output.
- **A one-time pack:** useful when you want a set number of attempts and do not need recurring access.
- **A subscription:** worth evaluating when you expect ongoing use and the included allowance matches that usage.

A larger pack can have a lower unit price while still costing more overall. Buy according to the number of attempts you expect to make, not simply the smallest price per token.

## Budget for iteration, not just the first image

Begin with one well-lit photo and two contrasting styles. Review the windows, doors and room proportions before paying to refine accessories. Keeping the photo and goal consistent makes it easier to judge which changes helped.

A render provides visual direction. It does not include furniture purchases, physical paint samples, installation, measured plans or a designer's professional review. Budget for those separately if the project requires them.

## Before you purchase

Check the total charge, currency, whether the purchase renews, the included allowance and the generation cost of your selected option. The store's confirmation sheet is the final reference for your purchase. Manage subscriptions in your Apple account ([Apple's cancellation instructions](https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428)) or in Google Play ([Google's cancellation instructions](https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481)).
